How to Activate Missing dll files.


DLL's (dynamic link library), basically a collection/compilation of small programs or executable files that can be used by Windows programs to run properly. There are certain scenarios that you received a sudden pop-up message "System could not find this DLL file" binkw32 for example.

Basically, you received these types of messages when you installed any new application, hardware drivers and sometimes due to computer misuse.

Some DLL files are deactivated due to new software installation, but in this tut, you would be able to reactivate these files again with the help of a simple command called Regsvr32 built on windows.


To activate the missing dll file go to
1. Start > Run (Window key + R)
2. Follow this format : [Regsvr32] [missing dll file]
omit the brackets, for example regsvr32 urlmon.dll
3. Hit enter
4. You will see a window popup saying that registration is suceeded.

Hopefully you won't be able to see missing *.dll files again
